Difficult to use

I'm trying to put dust covers on the back of my pictures but this trimmer doesn't work. Every time I try to cut the paper the trimmer rips the paper and even when it cuts it leaves many uncut sections. I followed the guide but can't get it to work. I don't know how anyone can use this thing. Update: I am returning this item for a refund. I've tried and tried to use it and even watched Logan's video on how to use this device but I can't use it. The Logan dust trimmer is a great tool. I wish I had bought it sooner. I make my own frames for my paintings and I want my work to look professional. I think I did a really good job and my artwork used to look professional. But with this tool, attaching a paper dust cover looks professional EVERY time. In the past I've cut the paper to the exact size I needed and then tried to position it exactly where I wanted it. Sometimes the paper would pucker a little while I was trying to lay it down that

This product is suitable for those who only occasionally frame pictures. Otherwise this cutter is a bit clunky, clunky and not as practical as it should be. The most off-putting feature is the single blade, which is designed for left- or right-handed users. The guard must be removed each time you want to cross to the other side. If they literally lengthened this tool by 1/16 inch, it would fit 2 blades. I use both hands - this saves me from lifting and turning the frame more than necessary. The
