UPDATE: The M705 has a button behind the scroll wheel that you can press to change it from free spin without restrictions to a more comfortable "clicky" scroll. The extra weight of the wheel allows for fast scrolling, and the "mode" button prevents the wheel from accidentally moving and scrolling on its own.
