Click more. Scroll more. Do more. Logitech Marathon mouse M705 uses far less power than comparable wireless mice from other companies. That means you can go up to three full years between battery changes. *. Hyper-fast scrolling lets you fly through long documents and web pages with a single spin of a nearly frictionless metal scroll wheel. The sculpted, right-hand shape guides your hand to a naturally comfortable position and places customizable control within your reach. Two thumb buttons lets you move quickly between web pages. **The sculpted, right-hand shape guides your hand to a naturally comfortable position and places customizable control within your reach. Two thumb buttons lets you move quickly between web pages. **. The tiny Logitech Unifying receiver stays in your laptop. There's no need to unplug it when you move around, so there's less worry of it being broken or lost. And you can easily add compatible wireless mice and keyboards to the same wireless receiver. Laser Grade tracking delivers smooth, responsive, precise cursor control on surfaces that cause problems for standard Optical mice, such as polished or wood-grain tables. ***. Works With Chromebook - The Works With Chromebook badge signifies products that are certified to meet Chromebook compatibility standards, to provide you with a seamless experience. Note : In case of Wireless mouse, the USB receiver will be provided inside or along with the mouse.

What happened to Logitech?

Update: Logitech recently made some of their products cheaper. An example is the latest Marathon M705 mouse. No more "productive lasers" Something like an optical version. There is no longer a button on the left handle to open multiple windows. No more smooth pads on the bottom for smooth mouse movements. Replaced with some sort of plastic that looks and feels like the material the case is made of. I don't know if they made the internals cheaper, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did…

Served 6.5 years, bought more

I bought this wireless mouse in late 2014. Now after 6.5 years the middle button finally started sticking and giving problems so I bought another Marathon mouse and now everything is working great again. Two AA batteries are required for operation, so you don't have to worry about changing batteries for 2-3 years. There is an LED on the top that lights up red when the batteries need to be replaced. It's very ergonomic but only seems to be right-handed. My favorite feature is the scroll wheel…

Poor design - textured pads on the bottom of the mouse.

I never normally leave reviews but I have to warn others about such a bad design. The bottom of the mouse has textured pads. The problem with these pads is that they scratch the mouse pad and reduce the accuracy of the mouse. If you need to move the mouse a little, you'll need to use extra force, but it's impossible to predict how much force as the textured pads don't always offer the same resistance. You end up overcompensating or undercompensating for that inconvenience and wrong click. This…

Cozy; a few minor annoyances

I bought this mouse when I needed a replacement and since I already had a Logitech ergonomic keyboard I foolishly assumed they would work together. The mouse itself feels nice and works as it should, however I have a few admittedly minor flaws that I can't give it all five stars. Specifically: The USB adapter that came with the mouse does not work with the Logitech keyboard and vice versa. I was hoping to free up one of my tight USB slots, so I was disappointed. Other vendors like HP Inc. make…

Fewer features than the previous Marathon mouse

This is a nice mouse but it is a newer version. It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the product description, but this version has removed the extra thumb button. How to tell them apart: The old version has a gray line next to the thumb joint. This shows you where the button is located. If you look at the bottom, this version says M/N: M-R0009. This mouse also has a ring around the laser indicating it has a dark field laser. The new version doesn't have a gray line, and there are no stickers on…

  • Nice looking

  • Only available in black

I love this mouse, but the middle click is hard to get right.

I'm very happy with this mouse, with one downside, which is that I find it too easy to push the scroll wheel sideways for horizontal scrolling when I want to center click instead. I often press the middle button and often find myself missing unless I think about pressing it. Maybe in a few weeks it will become second nature. Toggling between mouse click and smooth scrolling works very well and is great for scrolling to the end. It lies well in the hand, it is nice that you can adjust the weight

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Comfortable and well put together.

Let's start right away with Dislike. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought this mouse to eliminate the wireless mouse lag on my Microsoft Comfort 5000 mouse. This mouse seems to be much better than this one, but it still has lags. I would give it a one star rating except I think this issue is related to Windows 10. I read in one of the reviews that it was a beefy mouse, but I totally disagree. It feels light and flimsy to me, but looks like it will last. Another thing…
