Is it possible

Jan CP. Irwin is quickly becoming my favorite author. This is the second book of his that I have read and since he always ends on cliffhangers you have to read the second book to find out the ending of the story. Now that I know this is his style, I have to pick up the second book of the two books I've read. I need to know what happens at the end of the story.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Entertaining and thought provoking!

I really enjoyed this series of stories. We all think of those moments in our lives sometimes when we make a life-changing choice, and this story takes it a step further! Very well written, love that the protagonist struggles to do the right thing and takes us on a fantasy journey. Perfect ending too. Will you read more works by this author?

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Minor issues

great time travel read

what a great way to spend a weekend. It would make a great movie, with lots of laughs and good characters. The storyline was believable. I've always liked good books about time travel, usually the characters go back in time, but it was interesting to bring pirates from the past into the future. My only downside is that I want the third book to finish the story.

Pros
  • don't waste too much time
Cons
  • negativity exists

Better than I hoped

I have to start by saying that doesn't sound like my book. I chose it only because I liked The Time Ship so much by the same author. The only bad thing I can say about it is that I lost a lot of sleep trying to read "another chapter". What became another. And one more. Irwin's characters do a great job of challenging the status quo and overcoming challenges. Very interesting and thought provoking. I think I just need to read one of his books. (sigh) :-)

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Might hurt

London Review 2012 by 5ngela: What If (Book One)

This is the second book I have read by Mr. Irwin. The story was quite unique, at least for me. Love it. Read at your own risk, especially at night. The story revolved around a man named James Quinn. He has a good life. He has a good job, although he doesn't really like it, a loving wife and beautiful children. Looks perfect, doesn't it?! The problem is that James loves another woman and almost had an affair with her. He feels tormented between his wife and his sexy wife. Sounds easy rightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • The list will be long.

A bit slow at first, but then it gets really good. This is not a journey through time, but a journey into a dimension. That's the complete story (Books 1 and 2) by the way. Book 2 is about halfway from Book 1. I think they decided to merge them. But it asks a lot of questions we could/should all be asking ourselves, and food for thought. Some people didn't like the ending, but I did. It's up to you to decide which world he chooses.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Something different

London 2012 - Bought one and two

The screenwriter had the right way of turning the plot into many twists and turns. The alpha male was initially portrayed as a bad boy, but by the end of the book, people feel sorry for him. The second book was bought direct from the store and although it rained all day and night I was caught up in a fictional story of love, lost and found, time travel and fun. Give it a try, I love both!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Long wait
