I bought this dress for a big wedding. The dress is knitted, the skirt is lined, the waist is slightly higher than the model, the length is perfect. I'm 5'5" and wearing a dress with 3" heels. I don't need to alter the hem. It needs dressing up, but I love the versatility I can wear in one dress for both formal and casual occasions.

I ordered a size up after reading the reviews but apparently it wasn't necessary. The dress was too long for me (5ft 4in) but I wore it anyway. Very comfortable, great material. The belt didn't match the dress! Too small so I bought a silver chain belt which made it really fancy. I'll take a look at the hem when I wear it again. Overall a great purchase and good quality
