This item was purchased ahead of and for the July holiday which then had to be cancelled. I made sure everything was working when I got it, which it did, then removed it. I recently had the chance to use it sparingly for a few days when one day the buttons just stopped working despite the device having power, indicated by the red "standby" light on the device. This is a cute little device. I bought this as a birthday present for my 80 year old mother because it seemed simple and straightforward to use. The sound was good enough, the volume wasn't too loud but high enough for her, and it had a DC turntable and radio function.
