I wanted to wrap my homemade fudges to give away for Christmas. These capes were the perfect size and look that I wanted. The recipients of the candies were very impressed and said the wrapped candies looked professional! Hooray!

I tried different types of paper for wrapping caramels, including one I bought at a cake and candy store that dissolved when I tried to use it , ruin it my caramel. But LorAnn Oil's Twisting Wax Paper solved my problems. They wrap easily and never stick. Highly recommended.

The packaging requires a lot of work. Luckily it was the only item in the bag and the curled paper didn't fall out of the bag but the top of the bag was torn in the bag they were sent in. folded tightly as shown in the picture). I only bought these papers for homemade caramel I'm making for Christmas. Last year I used regular wax paper that I cut myself. This worked fine, but cutting out pieces of paper and trying to keep them the same size was very time consuming. This year, the work with the help of blanks has been greatly facilitated. I will never cut myself again. Since I'm giving them away for Christmas, I don't think the extra cost of die-cut packaging is an unreasonable expense.
