When I was in my 50's I experimented with many eye creams trying to find one that would balance effectiveness and price. Cream wins in this regard. While some eye creams have a more serum-like consistency, this cream is very rich/thick and silky - you can see in my overview photo that a spoonful of eye cream holds its shape rather than dripping down my fingertip. Probably a good cream but the smell is so strong and lingering I can't stand it. I didn't even close the lid at night hoping the smell would go away, but it didn't. So I figured I'd at least use it on my feet, away from my face and nose, but even that distance didn't work. He still smelled too strong. Now it's in the trash. I do not recommend for those irritated by strong smells.

I like this stuff. It smells great and you don't need much to moisturize your face, neck and chest area. It's not heavy, but light and moisturizing. I haven't used it in a very long time, but I've recently completely switched to L'Oreal products and I've already noticed a HUGE difference. No kidding! This product is excellent! I want to swim in it. Most of us, trying to fight aging and bags under the eyes like a Shar Pei puppy, use other products to try to slow down the process. For me, this is the first product where I honestly saw the difference almost immediately! I feel cool and visibly hydrate such a delicate eye area without feeling heavy or greasy. I have felt a significant improvement. Eyes. I LOVE IT! I would swim in it if I could, just for fun!
