These monitor stands work well! I got them lifting two large MSI monitors and they work great. They are not of the highest quality but they do the job and there was no damage upon delivery. I'm giving 4 stars because both stands I bought have a small defect where one screw hole is unthreaded, but that didn't turn out to be a problem. Just a warning for those with monitor legs like me, the stands are too narrow to fit all legs. This can be seen in the photo.

I bought this for one reason only: to have more desk space. My monitor goes up and down so I just wanted to put the keyboard under the shelf. Yes, about 1/4 inch smaller than a regular keyboard. The instructions that came with the product are mostly vague. A little accompanying text would be nice. There are ONLY diagrams and some utterly useless accompanying "notes" (tighten locks until they won't turn. when reassembling, then you probably won't have any trouble assembling.
