Recently purchased a USB powered monitor and came across this item while looking for mounting options. This thing is very strong and you can move with it at full power. In combination with one of my old flash tripods, I can set up a dual monitor whether I'm at my desk or lying in bed with my mbp. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've made since I've been on Amazon.

I use two of these mounts on a 39" rack to mount two 34" ultra wide monitors side by side. These brackets allow me to mount my monitors as close to the wall/back of the table as possible. They are very strong and easily support the weight of 18 kg monitors. Although a bit pricey they fit my specific application perfectly and would recommend them to anyone looking for a similar solution.

Very nice arms. The supplied U-bolts are designed for 1" or 1.5" tubes. If you make your own monitor stands, these are very heavy and strong tubes. If you're building a monitor stand to hang on the wall, these are very heavy pipe sizes. You can go with a smaller tube, but then I ran into issues with my 34" ROG (which is the heaviest monitor since the CRT days in the early '00s. I really like the white color, it matches the rest of my setup and my monitors.

I bought a mount to add a third monitor to a dual staff monitor mounting system. She already had two monitors, but she wanted something that was above and in the middle of her other two monitors. When used as part of a home made triple monitor mount everything works fine. Gives extension and side-to-side movement, full rotation and good tilt. There is no vertical movement, but of course you can move it to any height you want on the pole. A set of U-bolts COULD also be rotated sideways so you can mount it on a horizontal bar, or just rotate the mount 90 degrees and have vertical adjustment instead of horizontal.
