When used as part of a home made triple monitor mount everything works fine. Gives extension and side-to-side movement, full rotation and good tilt. There is no vertical movement, but of course you can move it to any height you want on the pole. A set of U-bolts COULD also be rotated sideways so you can mount it on a horizontal bar, or just rotate the mount 90 degrees and have vertical adjustment instead of horizontal. (It comes with 3 different size U-bolts for different rod diameters.) Once you tighten it well, it will not sag. Right out of the box it wasn't firm enough to hold a 24" monitor, but it comes with allen keys to tighten all the hinges and works great after that. just stay where i put it. durable, it's all metal and has a solid construction. It will definitely hold any monitor you can throw at it (assuming you tighten the screws appropriately). ) and little forward/backward range. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a quick change brace, but these are easy to add.
