Maneki Neko Lucky Cat - DIY Ceramic Keepsake for Painting and Adorning Review

This lovely ceramic lucky cat is a great addition to any arts and crafts enthusiast's project repertoire. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to beautifully incorporate this piece into my latest creative endeavor. The vibrant colors and detailed design are stunning and definitely add a touch of whimsy to any DIY project. However, the size may be a bit small for those looking for a bigger statement piece.

I ended up turning the figure into a black lucky cat. I didn't glaze, but used acrylic paint and acrylic pencils. It was easy to clean, arrived in perfect condition and got dirty easily. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute little figurine that can be turned into an amazing piece of art.

I really enjoyed drawing my cat! No hard-to-reach places, nice smooth surface. The ceramic picked up the acrylic paint easily so the figurine dried quickly, but I also had a great one coat finish on everything except the gold which is very thin on any surface. I will definitely be buying more! The cat came in an envelope with a strong cardboard box enclosed. The box was sealed tightly with tape and the cat was wrapped in TWO layers of bubble wrap. Very well packed!
