No instructions

I read online that the microwave can be used with precious metal clay. It came with no instructions. Not a single sheet of paper to tell you how to use it depending on the power of the microwave, or that you may need an oven cleaner, oven rack liners, or heat resistant gloves, or that you may need to remove the microwave immediately once the microwave is turned off, or where to find instructions can find. So it could be a waste of money

Must have gotten a good kiln

I first had a Fuseworks Micro Oven and wanted to buy another to use while the Fuseworks was cooling. I use both "to death" and am very happy to be honest. This one is the same size as my "original" and works almost exactly the same. it's not bad. And it's much cheaper than the full fuses. I was even able to burn a small silver clay figurine in it!

Pros

Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Incorrect dimensions

The melting platform is smaller than advertised and I couldn't adjust how it melts. I was only able to attach 2 small double layers 1/4" x 1 1/4" for the earrings and they didn't mix right away no matter what I tried. One will burn out and the other will be unavailable regardless of placement and schedule. I have another MWK (famous brand) that keeps burning out. It may be true that they are all made by the same manufacturer, but this experience got me thinking.

Pros
  • Ceramic and ceramic
Cons
  • Some errors

Works well but small

Works very well and is exactly what is advertised. I was amazed that such a thing existed and bought it to see if it worked. I've never used it and never seen it used before, but my first try worked fine. I've made about a dozen successful bells and whistles. It takes a little longer than I expected, about 6 minutes in my 1200 watt oven with Fuseworks 90 Coe glass and several hours to cool. That's small. He can only do a small piece at a time. Even if I took it seriously, I would definitely…

I am very happy with this oven so far

I am very happy with this oven so far. It works better than my other microwave and I can burn pretty decent chunks in it. Please note that this package includes the oven only. As a beginner you need burning paper and protective gloves before you start, otherwise you will end up with a mess on your hands. Also, gradually bring the oven up to temperature using microwave settings (e.g. 50% power for a minute or two, then 70% for a minute, etc.), at least until you know what the glass and oven are…

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
