NOT AS DESCRIBED

Does not match the seller's description and very disappointed with the installation. These lights were sold as 4" lights (see description!), and the written instructions state that a 4 1/4" hole must be cut to install them. They are actually 4 1/2 inches (or more) in diameter, so I had to cut ALL the holes. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • IC AND AIR TIGHT CASE - Not only can it protect against overheating, but also minimize moisture condensation, reducing future maintenance costs. In addition, it can safely be in direct contact with the insulation.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Large, lightweight body

Very satisfied. There are no complaints. The case is well made and has many features including LED connection and a standard socket with vertical height adjustment, push-in terminals for electrical cables with 3 empty connections for each conductor including ground, multiple cable cutouts including plug-in for Romex. Well made and easy to install. A 4 1/4" hole cut ensures a snug fit. Has 4 latches to attach the lamp to the ceiling. At $9 each, that's a great price.

Pros
  • APPLICATIONS - Typically used when you have limited or no access to the space above the new mount. It can accommodate a variety of lighting, e.g. B. 4 inch ceiling lights, PAR16, PAR20, BR20 etc.
Cons
  • unreliable

Good cans, easy installation

I ordered these cans for my living room recessed lighting and they worked fine. I had no problem connecting two different sets of dimmable LED bulbs to it (the first set I bought was too bright for my room) and connecting was easy. At first I thought I would get light with them, but that was my mistake. The only difficulty I had installing the cans was that my 4-3/64" OD hole saw was too small for the cans, so I had to drill at a slight angle to increase the hole size. When used Using a 4-1/4"…

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION. E26 screw base and TP24 quick connector make retrofit lighting installation easier and more optional.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
