Description of Lumion

Lumion is Architectural Software. Make an image, a video or a 360 panorama, which you can view with VR glasses. Render ultra fast. Make changes all the time. Upload a 3D design (made with Revit, SketchUp Rhino, Archicad or many other 3D modelling programs) and upload your design into Lumion. Lumion includes a large library with beautiful materials and objects. Dress up your model with sky, grass, glass, materials, people, lighting, furniture, cars etc. and add effects. Feel the space. It's easy to learn. This render engine is the fastest in the world. With Lumion anyone can make beautiful renders.

Great Architecture Software and excellent customer service

Easy to use interface for my architect clients as well as virtual walkthroughs of projects I am designing. This program allows me to show client's exactly what they are looking at in their own environment before purchasing it from construction documents software that only have paper drawings available. There does not seem like there was much thought about this product when creating its architecture features. It would be great if we could export 3D models into other CAD programs easily (maybe…

  • A quick way with good ease of use toolbars, simple user friendly tools & options without overkill bells or whistles which make working hard instead playing around easy!! Allowing you freedom while learning new tricks along side your old stand by methods used daily is always appreciated :) Can't wait until our next update!!! Thanks again Lumberyard crew team

Lumion is a professional 3D rendering software which allows users to create stunning 3D images.

After learning about Lumion's 3D rendering technology I decided to give it a try. My experience was amazing! I used to render my architectural models with other software but after trying Lumion I found that the result is much better. I also love how you can change every single aspect of your scene. You can easily change the colors, textures, lights, camera settings, background, sky, light sources, and so on. I think this is the best feature in Lumion because it gives the user total control…

  • Very easy to use - very intuitive
  • It has been designed so the user knows where to put their hands to make changes to the scene.
  • When working with 3D objects the controls become second nature very quickly.
Cons
  • Lumion is a pretty expensive piece of software
