The only thing I added was double sided tape on the top and bottom of the phone holder. The tape on the phone holder didn't secure the holder, my phone was too heavy.

Overall it fits my 2013 BMW 5 Series very well. The glue didn't last long and I had to replace it after just a few days of use. I like how it attaches, but there's an annoying rattle when the phone isn't docked to it.

Fits perfectly in the center of the dash. I've seen other versions that attach to air vents and I have a feeling they can damage the plastic fins. I've seen that on other BMWs too. Long story short I would buy this if you have an F10 or F11.

Don't forget to take your 3m tape with you, it's free to install. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the ease of installation. I didn't like it because it blocked my alarm button which was a big problem for me.

First, the glue is almost impossible to use, but without it, it doesn't work. The phone holder does not detach from the mount as shown in the video and the holder is very wobbly after installation. I had to make it acceptable with super glue. At best, it's a $10 holder.

This product is suitable for BMW 5 Series - 528i xDrive. All in all, if you like AC vent mounts, give it a try.
