This robust tripod is very adaptable! It has been used with iPhones and iPads both vertically and horizontally. My little grandkids use it very successfully and easily for the movies they like to make. It folds up and fits in a bag, which is very convenient! I've looked at so many and I'm glad I found this tripod!

This product is easy to use and set up, although changing the position, angle of the camera or the iPad is a bit difficult at first. I like its portability and find it good value for money. I gave it four stars instead of five because it could be a little more durable. I used it outside with my 12.9 inch iPad and it got blown away by the wind. I haven't used the remote yet so I didn't rate it.

I will be returning this stand for iPhone 12 and iPad up to 12" as it was NOT AS RECOMMENDED. He held both devices perfectly. It had minimal shelf life, but okay...it's a budget choice. But what is very important... THE MISSING PARTS! It did NOT have a guide arm/rod to rotate the devices left up and down, NOR a remote control for taking selfies. I choose THIS particular model because it contained SUCH elements. It will be returned. False advertising is not acceptable.
