I have very thick hair and my head is always hot when wearing regular pillowcases. I decided to try these and I'm glad I did. They keep my head at a comfortable, cool temperature. They heat up in the middle of the night, but all you have to do is turn them over and restore the cooling effect. They're well made and I've had no trouble washing them in cold water according to the directions and drying them on a medium heat. Bought these for my daughter and she loves them too.
