This is a second purchase, this time as a gift. As an indoor/outdoor grower, I use these tweezers to reach in and under plants to remove dead leaves, wilted flowers, etc., and many other hard-to-reach places my hand can't reach. The sturdy construction is made of stainless steel and has a beautiful finish. The very long length makes these tweezers so useful for me.

They seem a bit odd after using regular size tweezers on my small reservoirs. I bought this so I can target feed my rope fish in my 75 gallon tank without getting my hands wet. Well, it turns out I still get my hands wet, but I don't have to go that deep to get where my ropefish is dangling. These are weirdly sized tweezers, they seem a bit cheap, but they definitely do the job.

I have a black widow named Morticia. I made them feed them and clean up their leftovers. They are perfect, they allow me to get under the sticks she is hanging on to recover the remains and the angled ones allow me to do this without damaging her support lines badly. The straight ones are great for handling prey without damaging it. I've been using them for a long time and so far I'm happy with my purchase.

These feeding tongs are very durable. I have discussed a 4 star rating because my complaint is very specific to my dietary needs. I need to feed my axolotl bits of earthworm. The bits are very slippery and the grooves on the ends of the pliers are not very deep so the bits slide out. I have to get the food right in front of his face so he can tell, and it's hard to keep the pieces in the tongs. Overall great quality, just not the best for my (very specific) needs.

Are somewhat impractical due to their length, but I bought this set because of the excess length. They do the job they are designed for. So many reviews for rust but I haven't had any issues so far and use them almost every day. Dry them immediately after use and that's no problem. They're not surgical steel, but why would you expect that at this price point? Surgical stainless steel costs about four times as much! For the price I'm quite satisfied.
