I had a very tight space on either side of the double bed in my guest room. They fit perfectly and look great, and the lack of a hanging cord is a bonus too. I think the style will work well in any setting. They are brighter than I expected and easy to use. Not a big fan of the color change, but it's still a good light.

This is a good value functional wall light made mostly of plastic. I bought it to hang over my bed for reading and it fills that need. Also features multiple colors, timer functions, fade/strobe/flash functions and dimming. Not too bright to be blinding, but still bright enough for reading even in the lowest light, mounted about 1.5 feet above my head.

There is no light fixture in our living room off the master bedroom and I didn't want to take up space with a floor or table lamp. You are perfect! I was concerned that I might have to turn them on manually as each lamp comes with a remote control. Turns out I can use one remote control for all four sconces! I can turn them on and off from my bed! They are also great when the power goes out! My grandson loves that they change color!

Additional overhead lighting needed, especially for reading. I put two of these on each side of the headboard and they look like they were originally built into the furniture.
