Surprisingly, this company sells two cartridges for less than one HP cartridge. The ink is black and the cartridge works great. The only problem I had with the printer was getting it to print without a color cartridge: I imagine the same would be the case with an HP cartridge. For other people with this problem: sometimes you just have to wait; Sometimes turning the printer off and on will print the printer. You can also try disconnecting and then reconnecting the printer cable. In any case…

My husband and I are big fans of these remanufactured replacement cartridges as they are excellent value for money while still producing a clean and sharp print. We use our printer quite a bit and our little grandson loves it when I print photos of his favorite Grossery Gang characters for his scrapbook, so we use a lot of ink. We can highly recommend these cartridges. We received them within the time frame we specified when ordering.

Works great at first but the second time around the cartridge just stops working and the printer utility keeps reporting that the cartridge is either incompatible, failed or missing. It's so annoying and certainly not worth buying. This is the second or third cartridge of this type I've tried with the same problem. Never again!

I had so many hopes for this product and was deeply disappointed. No matter what I do, they just never work that well. This causes streaks and uneven colors to print. I (unfortunately) only bought from HP. I wish it would work because the price was a lot better than HP, but I ended up spending more and wishing I could just buy from the manufacturer.
