The flag does not stay at the top of the pole.

Got this for our bike trailer. Fits great and the height is great, the fiberglass rods are a good diameter and quality - springy but not intrusive. The main problem is that the flag is not held at the top of the pole, but slides down easily and regularly while driving. The included plastic clip is a joke. I had to glue it on top with super glue. After 6 months and maybe two dozen rides, the stick broke at the plastic joint between the two sections.

Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Do not purchase the M-Wave LED Security Flag (Neon Yellow).

I should have studied this subject better, it would have only taken me a minute or two. The light is so weak that the product does not work straight out of the box. I can buy new batteries, who knows how long they've been on the shelf, but that defeats the point of shopping at Revain. If I was going to the store I wouldn't buy this thin fabric from Revain. Unfortunately, another Revain purchase goes straight into the trash. There was a time when a consumer could trust Revain products…

Cons
  • Big and bulky

Practical and useful: safety signs and signals

Not clear from the description, but the light at the end of the flagstick flashes when the flag moves. Because it's mounted on a spring, the flag will flash when you pass a bump. I also found that in low light I could reach back and shake the flag a little to warn a car approaching from behind. I don't recommend making this your only source of light! Most states require a permanent or flashing tail light (and a white light up front) at night. I think it's a great idea to have a flag on a pole…

Cons
  • Without instructions
