Excellent device, suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

This case works like clockwork. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, our damaged desktop PC's hard drive was working as a flash drive when connected to a laptop. Very well done.

Save your old hard drives

This was a great solution for me when I was erasing my old Mac and couldn't decide what to do with the internal hard drive. Although the backup was made through Time Machine, I didn't want to throw away the drive when I got rid of the computer, so I moved it to this external enclosure - a very easy task. I liked it so much that I bought another one for a similar situation.

Don't buy Computer accessories and peripherals

Terrible 750GB WD in there, runs 20 minutes then too hot to detect. Archive drive only, but sometimes it takes days to retrieve all my data when only 20-50GB is stored. Called the company, spoke almost no English, their solution was to just send another one. On the one hand good, but from a heat transfer point of view the product is fundamentally flawed. Buy something else.
