I'm not sure if my item was a unique defect or something was wrong with the product. The multiplication button didn't work no matter what I did. I contacted support and they made me try different ways to fix the problem but it was never resolved. They offered to send a replacement but I decided not to risk this product and ordered another from a different company. I really liked this addition to my laptop. My Surface Book 3 doesn't have a numeric keypad and I work a lot with numbers and analysis, so I need a numeric keypad to work much more efficiently. This BT number pad helps a lot. The buttons are the perfect size and the response is great once BT registers on the laptop. When falling asleep, it may take a while before waking up and logging back in, but this is negligible for the overall functioning of the device. I like that it's light and thin. This

The first one I received had a broken key. The "Insert" key is stuck. I returned for a replacement. The second has no problems with the buttons. Every day I enter tons of data into spreadsheets. Because of this, I have to constantly make sure that the keys I'm pressing are accurately transmitting data to the computer so that calculations can be performed. This product doesn't actually do that. Press 7, it will give you a 7 about 9 times out of 10, but it may not give you a 7 at all, or maybe it gives you two 7s, maybe it's trying to balance the 7s that it had 10 cells ago has ignored.
