MacBook Screwdriver Professional Repair Version Review

So far I've only had to use the kit once with my computer to attach the cable in it and it works great! Great quality and variety in a set at a great price!

I received this kit to repair my Apple Macbook Pro. I used it once and noticed some wear but it worked, I used it a second time and the pentalobe 1.2mm driver was too badly damaged to finish the job (very soft metal).

Had to replace the left and right speakers on my MacBook Pro and found my torx bits were too big for the job. This set worked great and made the job a lot easier. I liked that it also came with a suitcase. Keep things in order.

The drivers are listed on the website. They are very accurate and tightened the screws on Kindle Version 7 which allowed me to change the battery. I don't expect them to peel off when working with electronics and using the correct size. There's not much versatility in riders whether they're the right size or not.

This kit contains everything you need to open and disassemble most MacBook Pros. I have a 2019 16" model and only needed a screwdriver to remove the bottom case (the plastic piece helped open it securely) and a separate smaller screwdriver to unscrew and disconnect the battery cable. It comes with a rolled up carry bag. .

I don't know what German S2 carbide steel is, but it should be softer than the Macbook Pro screws I've tried on. The tip of a pentalobe screwdriver is completely "blank" after opening the lid of a Macbook with 10 screws for the first time (see picture). Now I have a completely useless screwdriver. I assume the rest of the set is just as bad. Not worth the money!
