I have been using various hand creams for a long time. Now I use JR.watkins Coconut&Honey. And this time I ordered Provance hand cream. For simplicity I will say compare with Provance and JR Watkins. No cream at all. The consistency is more like a liquid lotion. I have sensitive skin and everywhere I applied the lotion a rash appeared immediately.

This product does not smell of rose and peony! It's an artificial floral scent and as soon as it hits the skin it turns into that plastic smell which was awful! Returned immediately!

The smell is not overpowering, but not the usual aroma of a rose (peony probably plays a role here). The cream moisturizes well but leaves a sticky feeling as if it is not fully absorbed. I have no regrets trying it and will definitely keep using it but probably won't buy again.

I like this product. I don't like the rose/peony scent and probably should have tried something else. I just put a lot in my hand (a quarter size, which is probably too much) and it was nice and thick but still a bit sticky on my hands. I love that shea butter is the second ingredient.

Calling it "cream" is a bit of an exaggeration; it's more like a thick lotion. Good size tube and expensive. In this case I got what I paid for. A rose scent with hints of peony blossoms. The smell is not strong and will go away after a while. softness not. Hands are not greasy after use. I keep the phone next to my desk. My work involves long hours of computer work and the use of thick paper - in other words, my hands stay dry most of the time. That helped. I will also try the body cream with the same scent.

The packaging is nice but the lotion doesn't smell like roses. I compared it to L'Occitane and was disappointed in the lack of a rose scent.
