I bought this to replace a cute ceramic sponge holder that broke during a dishwashing episode - it shows you that cute doesn't always mean functional! I chose this sponge holder for its modern look, durability, and ability to store your sponge in an open, airy environment to keep it fresh (and smelly). This is a super functional holder and we love it! I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

I've never seen a vertical sponge holder. When I saw it I realized this is what I need! In the kitchen sink, he soaks the sponge to air dry, preventing the slimy, smelly sponge that is so gross. Sure, I still run it in the washing machine once a week with a load of towels, but with this sponge holder, it stays fresher longer and it lasts longer before falling apart.

I bought this sponge holder because I liked how small it is and how many drainage holes it has, but now it's in the trash. Because there is only one suction cup, the holder will rotate and eject the sponge if you don't install it properly. Also, the suction of the suction cup is poor so it slides over the edge of the sink, meaning the sponge essentially sits on the bottom of the sink, defeating the purpose. I gave it a solid 3 weeks and finally threw it away today.
