This works but the heavy duty two group version is nice two

I use it for both commercial and residential applications. I forgot I had it but when I used it it was great. The planes on board make this quick and efficient. Although I think the edges wear out pretty quickly when snapped in and removed from the base. Either way, it's cheap enough just to buy a few.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons

Dirt at the exit

This is a level. This level is not a level. If you were to use this level to cut a hole in the wall you would end up with an uneven hole. My hole isn't straight because apparently this piece of shit has no quality control and is a piece of junk. Do not buy. Your eyes, one of which is glassy and the other mostly blind, will be better at carving a smooth hole. than this pile of shit.

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • Some bugs

Useful but poor quality

My only concern is the quality. The horizontal plane is good. The vertical plane is disabled. I have to remember to put the edge of the bubble on the outside line on the left to make it even. Most commonly used vertically. I'm about as good at using a cardboard template and my own level. This makes it easier to draw the outline of the box. He has every chance of being in the top 5.

I love this little thing

I love this little thing! I usually do commercial work so I always cut holes for boxes. It makes it great and I love the layers it has. Makes work faster and smoother, the small investment is worth it! This is much more convenient than trying to secure the crate to the wall with a spirit level and making marks around the edges with a pencil. Well worth it, 5/5 from me!

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Speed

This product saves a lot of time

It saves a lot of time! As a commercial/industrial electrician, I install a lot of box cutouts, which makes layout very easy. Just mark the horizontal and vertical position on the wall, use the tool to align, mark and cut. It also has a white rubberized back that prevents scratches when opening the box. The guy at my place of work used one so I had to catch him. I definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Priceless!

I'm an electrician and this simple tool is invaluable on the job site. The data pin is the larger hole (yellow) and the smaller hole is the socket. Since the box has to be strong enough for the supports to work, you have very little room for error or the lid won't close the hole. or the box does not hold. The layers on it keep it straight. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to be crated. I get a lot, can I borrow this at work.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • No Instructions

Another time-saving and user-friendly product.

I don't think I can think of a reason why an electrician wouldn't need this. It's a very smart product and one of those little things in your tool bag that makes life a little easier. I probably would have bought it too if it didn't have spirit levels, but that's just an added bonus. If you are an electrician who is constantly adding "connections" (appliance electrician) then there is literally no reason you shouldn't be doing this. Simple function, easy to use and accurate... Instead of…

One of those tools you've lived without but shouldn't have

Having done electrical work for about 40 years I just held the box up to the wall and used a marker to stencil. Unfortunately, this can sometimes be a problem when things get tight or when it's difficult to hold the level and box securely. So this 'smart' tool immediately caught my attention when I saw it when I was looking for something different. It's simple and it works. Most are for (ugh) plastic boxes, and that's fine. The smaller part that separates from the larger one is perfect for a…
