Nice looking sock. Suitable without protection. I wasn't impressed with the difficulty of getting this sock over the shin guards. Because of the many threads inside the sock that stick.

Red Black Soccer Jersey. They are bright and sporty. I bought the small for its 2 foot height (and skinny legs) but definitely should have bought the medium one. They were very tight to put on, plus these things sat! Now they barely stay above his shin guards. I can't tell if they've lost their elasticity either, but they certainly don't fit the way he first put them on. Unfortunately, for the price, I can't recommend it.

My 6 year old son has just started playing again. We've seen a lot of movies during the pandemic, and many of the characters he's attracted to were fast-paced as well. Speed, Flash, Sonic are just a few of them. Of course those socks that show us the speed should have been with him. When he wore these socks and called him "Speed" on game day, his faith was strengthened. The quality is excellent, the design just works. We're getting another pair, but maybe something flashier. Get them already!

Update: Large is just a longer leg section but is the same size over the calf as Medium. It's a tight grip over the shin guard with little room to shrink. Unfortunately we have to look for another sock. The medium size was perfect for my daughter but based on other reviews I knew to expect shrinkage so we're going back for the larger to make sure it fits her shin guards for the season. My daughter wears size 2 girls shoes and size 8-10 girls clothes. This sock definitely runs small.
