These gloves were too small for the person I bought them for but good for me because I got a new pair of gloves :) There was about 8 inches of snow here and they were great at shoveling snow back then. Great gloves, just order one size up.

The gloves are very good but when my daughter tried them on she pricked her finger. Pulling it out, she found a needle and thread stuck in her finger. As a mother, this scares me a lot. All these things (horror stories) spinning in my head.

These gloves keep my hands warm while skiing in 10-25F temperatures. Below this temperature, any residual sweat that does not leave the glove will eventually turn your hands cold. For $14 they are decent quality and will probably last 1-2 seasons.

I bought a pair for myself and my husband. We live in the Midwest and it's pretty damn cold here. Those gloves didn't work very well. Our hands were still very cold in them and we returned them.

The gloves were advertised as waterproof. For the first time on a snow plow we got wet. Lost a significant amount of heat and left my hands numb. You look good.

Try 1 size larger than usual so that the gloves do not compress the lining. My usual size XL was a bit tight. I'm rating this design a 4 because it doesn't measure up to the performance of other gloves I use outdoors in cold NH winters. I haven't had any issues with the outer fabric, but I do find it easy to rip or tear.

Like most gloves I've bought, they work well for a few hours in the snow. Eventually my girls hands got wet and cold. They work well when your child is outside for about an hour.
