I bought these buttons to use with a quilted bag pattern I'm making. I only had antique brass finishes on hand from another manufacturer and wanted to use silver. I just assumed, based on the description and my experience with other magnetic clasps of the same size, that they would work well for clasping a wallet. However, I was wrong. The magnet on these buttons is very weak - too weak to use on a wallet or similar small item. The clasp can be easily released with a slight tug.

oh my god this is the bomb. I have small wrists. So I got them for easy locking of some items. I even sewed the jacket on with dental floss. as well as a thin classic shirt. They are so easy to use that I feel like a pro. click and go! I recommend and will buy again!

Sew-on magnets are perfect for decorating transforming mittens. To reveal the fingerless gloves, the tops simply had to be folded back and the connection was made. Everyone who received a pair of mittens was amazed at the ease of use. I will buy more and tell my knitting friends about it!

They are a little smaller than I thought. They fit in my big bag, but next time I'll make sure they're bigger and heavier than this one. Also, the little silverbacks are very thin compared to others I've bought at a fabric store. But the ones at the fabric store are $6 a set.
