upset. for clasps

I bought these buttons to use with a quilted bag pattern I'm making. I only had antique brass finishes on hand from another manufacturer and wanted to use silver. I just assumed, based on the description and my experience with other magnetic clasps of the same size, that they would work well for clasping a wallet. However, I was wrong. The magnet on these buttons is very weak - too weak to use on a wallet or similar small item. The clasp can be easily released with a slight tug.
