Just installed yesterday - installed very quickly, very durable, has strong magnetic force and holds my iPhone XS in portrait (vertical) and landscape (horizontal) modes. I haven't even touched it on rough road surfaces, and I drive a sports car with relatively stiff suspension. I mentioned that it looks good even without everything. I like the minimalistic look and the overall design. Maybe I'll come back in a few months and let you know how it's doing. So far I can highly recommend it.

These magnetic mounts are great! They were easy to apply, the sticker and metal disc fit between two layers of my double 'SYONER [Armor] Shockproof Protective Phone Case' on my Galaxy J7 Crown and caused no deformation of the case. Works very very well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone securely and not wobble. I have a phone case so I didn't have to use a metal plate sticker. I just put a metal plate between the phone and the case and the magnet works really well. Instead of using my vent mount (which blocks airflow), I inserted mine into the mouthpiece, which allows my phone to stand upright and not fall over even when going over bumps. I had a "premium" air vent phone holder that was about double the price of this product. It was the type that rotates and attaches to the vent. The problem with this was that I had to readjust the clamp every few days because it eventually snapped off. However, this was not a big problem. Then one day I went into another state, and when the clamp was released, the clamp broke. So I bought it and it's just as good if not better. I can still turn my phone easily. This is a very effective magnetic cell phone holder for air vent. This is my first heater holder. EXTREMELY strong magnet requires you to learn the technique of sliding or prying the phone off the holder without pulling the holder out of the opening! Yes, the magnetic field is so strong that the yosh holder wants to stay on the phone. A simple trick is to either slide the phone or pry it at an angle. don't hang up immediately. The mobile phone does not slip off due to the strong magnetic field.

I bought a Caseco Core 360 universal mount for about $30 and replaced it with this one that works much better. This magnet is much larger but flatter so the phone lays flat. It's also strong enough to be used in a flexible plastic phone case, so you don't have to stick anything directly to your phone. It's pretty solid so it's easy to stick it on your dashboard without fiddling with it. My car (Hyundai Santa Fe) doesn't have much space on the dashboard, but using this air vent mount is perfect.
