Works very very well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone securely and not wobble. I have a phone case so I didn't have to use a metal plate sticker. I just put a metal plate between the phone and the case and the magnet works really well. Instead of using my vent mount (which blocks airflow), I inserted mine into the mouthpiece, which allows my phone to stand upright and not fall over even when going over bumps. Most people cannot do this depending on how their fork is positioned. This is ideal for rental cars as nothing needs to be fixed or secured and they can be easily moved.
