Fantastic portability - I find it easy to use both when I'm on the go and at home. However, the 10x magnification is a bit off-putting at first, but now that I have it I find it necessary. Now I can see my lower lashes well. Would recommend.

It's SMALL! The mirror itself (without the backlight) is about the size of a tea saucer. You can only see your reflection when you are a few inches away from it, so you can get a close-up of an eye, nose, or other eye, but not the whole face. Also, it's a one-way mirror, so you can't turn to the other side to see your normal reflection. This requires 3 AAA batteries. Too bad they didn't tell me that my mustache is bigger than my husband's. My eyebrows look good these days. I simply attach a (strong suction cup) magnifying mirror to my "big" mirror. It's battery operated and compact enough to take with you anywhere. The light is bright enough to act as an emergency light in the event of a power failure. Bonus!

So I decided to create a small beauty zone on my computer desk because my space is very limited. I didn't use a suction cup because I like to move it freely around the table, but holy moth the increase is amazing! Almost scary because I can see all the imperfections in my pores, my dry, flaky skin, or makeup imperfections that I missed before. I got this mirror for my mum for Christmas but I liked it so much I kept it for myself. It took me 2 minutes to put the batteries in and turn it on. There is a suction cup on the bottom that allows it to stick to the countertop or sink. Works perfectly! I'll take a second one for my mom!

Perfect size for my bathroom counter. The only problem with the 10x magnification is that I can now see EVERY little thing on my face. MY GOD! (Haha!)
