Nice cheap head.

I bought this product and then returned it, not because of the quality but because I wanted something much smaller. It seems well made and has smooth movements. This isn't a top-of-the-line head, but for the money it's good.

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not as durable as I had hoped.

It was pretty good until it broke after about a month of use. The mounting screw on the bottom broke in half so now I can't attach a monopod or similar to it making it pretty much unusable. I think I got what I paid for.

Pros
  • Not a bad thing
Cons
  • Working speed

Get what you pay for

Tilt is not smooth but pan is very smooth. I contacted the seller, they were very responsive but not resolute. They frustrate me dealing with them to the point where I'd say hell with it. This is definitely the case when you get what you pay for. It's functional, yes it's what I expected. no

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Bought this head instead of a ball head for something more durable and to have pan/tilt functionality. Very durable. I've even attached a small jib crane with a very heavy weight to it a couple of times and it handles the weight just fine. I've been using it for a few months now, no problems, still very smooth and it has found its permanent place on my tripod.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Compact and lightweight but doesn't leak

Pros: Lightweight (because everything is hard plastic except the handle). Compact (not as compact as other brands). Inexpensive. Disadvantages: practically does not slow down the liquid. Resistance is like friction. The handle is not adjustable up and down. It doesn't feel as strong compared to metal and will likely break if dropped a few feet. Recommendation: If you're looking for an inexpensive, compact, lightweight plastic tripod head that will easily hold your inexpensive camera in oneโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • There are cons

Decent but affordable - Sturdy but not titanium - A good choice for those who need to add tilt and pan to a slider, homemade arrow, dolly etc . - There are many choices and some are just cheap and poorly made, this one will not spontaneously catch fire within 24 hours of first use - Of course it's not a Manfrotto, Benro or Bogen and that's fine - It'll do the job well Task - no complaints, I use mine to mount a 70D and HF-G10 on a trolley - supports them well with no problems - one possibleโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Good but not great
