MAHLE Original 877 Cabin Filter Review

Fits and handles the same or better than OE. Note: Mercedes is a cabin air pre-filter, there are two other secondary air filters in the system.

Not as strong as OEM, especially thickness and side seal. This one has foam on the side, the original only has valves. Otherwise, it's easy to install and works well.

Installation is easy but the worst thing is that it's not as strong as the original! and because of that, you see how it's crumpled, which might not let as much air through. Hence 1 star. This filter was installed in the GLS 550 2017 (X166).

This is a filter that is located under the hood in the engine compartment. In the cabin, under the glove box, there is another cabin filter that also needs to be replaced.

Perfect for my 2017 c300. This is a secondary cabin filter that is located under the hood (there is another cabin filter that is installed under the dash and differs in shape and size). It's pretty easy to replace, open the hood, loosen the connectors, remove the old filter and snap the new one in place. The quality is good and it's a cheaper replacement compared to OEM or branded filters.
