Works well for the purpose I need it for. My only complaint would be that the fronts don't close fully unless what's in the pockets is pushed back. Otherwise it suits my needs well. Could have been a little stronger but I knew what I was getting for the price. I would buy it again for the same purpose but I find them to be a little expensive for the quality but I couldn't find any wood or plastic in the same sizes. I'm not sure I'll buy it again, but for now I'm working.

First I want to say that NO, YOU CAN'T do it horizontally. By default it should be vertical. If you want it to be vertical I think it's a smart little system that's solid enough. Not very strong, don't put a bunch of detergent bottles in the top box, but it would be fine for shirts or something. I needed mine under the table and prayed it would be horizontal. Couldn't, but well, it wasn't advertised as such so I just decided not to use the lids at all and turned the cubes on their backs. Works…
