I have very long hair and I'm a nurse so I have to keep my hair in my hair. I'm tired of ponytails or half ponytails. My hair is heavy (I have very thick hair) so I wanted to put it in a bun. That works great. Just put your hair in between and twist them. Too bad they were in black to match my hair. Lasts all day and looks very neat. Pretty difficult to take out; Just be careful when removing it from your hair, sometimes the hair can get tangled or sticky.

To me that would be a HUGE NO! If you have layered hair, this probably won't work for you. I plan to return it as soon as possible. Right now I'm sitting here with one stuck in my hair hoping I can get it out without tearing my hair out. Perhaps suitable for owners of long thick hair of the same length. Update: I contacted the company representative and she shared her experience. They immediately sent me a new replacement. After getting it, one of the two I tried worked without any issues. My original 3 stars have been changed to 5 because of the overall service. Previous review: I could have gotten a bad one but after 2 uses the darker brown of the two cracked while making the bun. The lighter one still works, but it's a bit lighter for my hair color, so I don't use it often.

This is amazing! One of my daughters has long curly hair and the other unruly thick straight hair. Every year it took each of them at least an hour to make a bun for a solo concert. With them it took maybe 10 minutes for both of them. They're easy to use and we've had no issues with them getting caught in anyone's hair.
