Weak speakers in radios

Not bad for a quiet shop. But it has very weak speakers and is not effective enough for outdoor use. May not work for film drives. Its volume is about half that of the average home TV.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Long wait

Poor sound in personal radios

Somewhat disappointed in the sound, not loud. The reception is honest when you are not on the road. It's durable so it can withstand a fall or two. I shouldn't be paying for Mikita's name, which is a shame I have a lot of Mikita's tools.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Periodicity

Nobody reads the instructions

They say blue teeth are difficult to match. Read the instructions. Press Pair and then 1. Pairing is quick. People say he's not loud on the blue tooth. Download Volume Booster to your phone. Guys please read the instructions before leaving a bad review. This is the most durable radio ever made.

Pros
  • Good assembly
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good walkie talkie with Makita batteries.

Good battery life, FM radio reception and Bluetooth capability with USB port for phone charging. I think it's too loud. tips. When playing music from your phone via Bluetooth, you can use the equalizer in your music app (e.g. Musicolet) to adjust the bass and treble. When playing music on FM radio, you can reduce the base gain by turning off the radio's LOUDNESS function (page 11 of the Owner's Manual).

Poor delivery practices

This review is more related to the service and a little bit to the product, I will come back to write that later when it is used. Although the shipping was fast, the price reasonable and the description well done, this product was NOT shipped in a shipping box! So this item opened up on my doorstep and said look at me for everyone to see! Luckily, the person the item was intended for saw it while going to work and brought it. The seller must constantly avoid this problem, especially during the…

Big bass sound, solid, power/connection stopped working

I like the bluetooth functionality of this unit and the fact that it sounds pretty good despite its small and light weight. I don't like how overwhelming the bass is, but that's mostly an issue when trying to listen to podcasts or voice programs; I would like more control over the equalizer. The main problem is that the connection to the power source has stopped working. Everything is fine with the power supply (output voltage is 12 volts), but the radio does not turn on when the power supply…

  • Great for me

  • No instructions

Okay I guess if you don't need the clock to work properly.

I have a lot of Makita 18v brushless tools so this seemed like a good choice when I was looking for a decent radio/bluetooth speaker for my shop at home. After all, Makita has always been synonymous with quality. The first ones I bought from Revain turned out to be faulty: the watch didn't tell the time. I mean not even close. It would be fine for a few days; then, one day, boom, it's for a few hours. buffer battery tested; all is well. In addition, we had no power outages during this time. In…
