I ordered this last night and received it this morning (nice!). I read the reviews about the fit and followed them even though I knew they weren't. I wish more people would include their height and weight when describing why it does or doesn't fit. I'm 5'9" and 170-175 pounds. I wanted to order a medium size, which I usually take as my size. I ordered my first kaftan in a plus size and it fit almost snug, but personally I don't like the size so I ordered two more in the next size up. They're just too spacious, so it depends on what you like. I prefer to feel roomier so I'm happy with the XL. Length and girth are ok. L (my original) is also suitable for length, but an extra inch in girth may be needed (but that's not too tight either). The problem is NOT with the product but with my body.

Love it I wear it everywhere I wear rolled up sleeves with no crotch print because the sweatshirt pocket is quite deep which is just great when you go to the beach and need to cover up after you go out, if you're just lounging around your house or on your back porch and put your hair and pants on and pull them up and tie them at the side and you look all set. I would give this 10 stars if there was an option

, I'm 5ft 7in - 130lbs - a stick figure woman who can barely fit in this beautiful cover of medium sized menswear. No softness after two washes. Wanted to wear it over my bathing suit at the beach but it really scratches my arms, legs and butt. I was hoping to wear it to lounge around in. Something like that made of pleasantly soft cotton. ok . . . .
