Waste of money: Disappointing Cement Shears

Based on my observations, this product is not up to the mark with most of the Industrial Power Tools. Despite the good design, it's just not strong enough to cut through tough cement. The cons outweigh the pros as it makes more noise than other concrete shears, and the blade needs frequent sharpening. I regret purchasing this one, and I would advise buyers looking for a cement shear to explore other options available in the market.

Pros
  • Good design.
Cons
  • Inefficient, makes noise, and requires frequent blade sharpening.

Great clapboard removal tool

This tool has made my siding job a lot easier. Worth the money even for a hobbyist like me who is doing renovations on his own house. I bought an air tool based on the reviews I read versus a power tool and I'm glad I did. This is an air drill, but with the right compressor, this tool is invaluable. A small frame compared to a power tool makes a big difference.

Pros
  • Wear resistant blade and wear plate, replaceable on the job
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB

Cuts cement siding like butter. However, it consumes a lot of air. So if you want to cut sheet metal siding, you need an air compressor with at least 4 CFM. My 2cfm compressor is great for cutting 8" boards. I still have a problem with broken corners at the end of a cut. It doesn't happen all the time so I'm sure it's my technique. Someday I'll find out. Great tool! Fast and precise, eliminates dust when cutting with an electric saw.

Pros
  • Makes quick straight or curved cuts
Cons
  • No power
