I have had very porous hair all my life. As a kid, after a day of swimming, my 100% virgin hair would swell up at the ends because it would soak up all sorts of chlorine particles. I've been trying for YEARS to find ways to stop chlorine from eating my hair strands because it roasts them from the inside out. This shampoo helps remove hard water and chlorine build-up. It's gentle, smells delicious and makes my hair soft. I wish there was more in the bottle for this price but I reordered it because it's a great all-purpose shampoo that can be used once a week or more depending on your needs. Recommend.

I use this for 5-10 minutes after bathing and some but not all greens come out. 80% of the greens didn't disappear well enough. I have platinum blonde hair, so it might not be strong enough for blonde hair, but I still walk around like it's the day after Halloween.

This shampoo works. I had green in my hair for weeks from swimming every day and it really got rid of most of the green in my hair. If I've REALLY neglected it, it may take a few more washes to wash off completely, but I just use shampoo. If you use a conditioner and crystals, you might get unique results. This is a 5 star product. I gave 4 stars because my bottle was open and leaking. I know it's not insanely expensive but at this price I expect it to arrive sealed.

I like the smell of this shampoo. It's very lemony. I use it for my kids after swimming in the pool to get rid of the chlorine. I find it works well and my hair is straight straight away. However, I think your local water source might make a difference. New York water works well with this. New Jersey and Florida water doesn't leave that smooth, air-conditioned feel. I think it's the hard water.
