The dress appears to be translucent through the lower part, is made up of 4 layers but is very thin. I bought a 5t for my almost 5 year old and the dress comes to about halfway below the knee. So if you're really looking for a long time, don't recommend it. The flower that comes at the back needs to be pinned by yourself. I agree with some of the other reviews that I don't see this dress lasting too long, luckily I only need it for a one time use. The lace part of the dress is beautiful.

My daughter wears the dress 4 times a week and I bought it for her to be a flower girl! Don't make the same mistake, it's too big, the shoulders look like they're stuffed with one too many shoulder pads, the quality is so cheap it's ridiculous. It's very see through no matter what color you wear underneath as I said my daughter wears dresses a lot and she was so hot and uncomfortable in it and crying that I was told to take it off after a minute of trying it on.

My daughter is 14 months old. She wears clothes for 9-12 months. I bought the dress in size 6-12 months and it fits her perfectly. It's well made and seems comfortable enough. As soon as we sat her down, she continued on her way, as if in everyday clothes. that's a plus! Babies can be very picky. I ordered a long sleeve white dress and received a sleeveless dress. Luckily for a wedding that's not a problem, but I couldn't understand why from the outside of the package to the inner panty everyone was talking about white long sleeves. Also works a little, my daughter is 3 years old and I ordered 5t to be on the safe side, no rework necessary.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous for any special occasion or just to dress up. Very reasonable price for the details, lace stripes on the front, large satin bow on the back, just gorgeous. Your princess will be happy about it and she probably won't want to take it off!

In the photos this dress looks much nicer and fuller than it really is. The material is very cheap, and the bow fell off immediately.
