Description of 🧸 Manhattan Toy Skwish Classic: Engaging Rattle and Teether Grasping Activity Toy

MULTI-SENSORY CLUTCHING BABY TOY: Classic, multi-sensory clutching rattle encourages grasping and reaching which are important for gross motor skills; the lightweight wooden dowels, smooth finish, and elastic ties make it easy for little hands to grab. BABY WOODEN RATTLE: The Skwish is surprisingly lightweight, allowing little ones the ease of sliding the beads back and forth on dowels, producing a very pleasing rattle sound and allowing baby to explore sound and learn cause and effect. DEVELOPMENTAL TEETHER TOY: The highly-regarded design of wood construction and elastic ties allow the unique rattle and teether to flatten, or "squish", and always return to its original shape. HEIRLOOM QUALITY WOODEN TACTILE TOY: The Skwish Classic Rattle and Teether safe for baby teething due to the baby-safe water-based acrylics that remain hardened, it has bountiful tactile qualities of smooth, yet perceptible wood grain texture. STANDING BY OUR BRAND: If you're reading this, you've found a safe toy from a real company and a brand that cares. Since 1978, Manhattan Toy has been a trusted source of imaginative toys for babies, toddlers and kids of all ages.

A few questions. in baby care

At first I was shocked to see that it is not strong and does not stay in place. It's held together with bungee cords and when you step on it, it flattens out. I hope that makes sense. Second, my baby somehow cut his lip. I was sitting right there with her when. Happened. The baby chewed on the tip and then looked at me in pain and cried. Of course the kid had a cut on the inside of the lip! Since then I have hesitated to publish it. That's nice. And colourful. And how the beads move is great.

  • Comfortable

  • There are nuances

I liked it because my little one was very worried Check before use

Nothing special. I liked this because my little one was very busy sucking on the tip of the toy during 'tummy time'. This kept him busy enough to break the time on his stomach. I think as he gets older he will have more fun squeezing the toy and responding to the sound of the interior lightbulbs hitting the wooden pegs. One of the serious problems is that there is a small splinter sticking out where the ball hits the racquet. It looks like it's smudged, but I'll sand it down myself and touch it

One of our favourites!

Bought this for our baby and it quickly became one of his favorites. The first balls on the edges were great for him while teething and he likes to just put them in his mouth and walk around on them. In addition, the ropes make it easier to hold babies, especially when they are just learning to grasp. It was a nice progression from holding the strings to the wooden bars and the edges of the ball. The best part is that it didn't break or break like a few other days. I like to squeeze toys from…

i wanted to love it

I must preface this review by saying that I had the original Skwish Classic when my own girls were babies, back in the late 80's and early 90's. It's a bit bigger and definitely softer, and it also has moving bells and beads (which this new version doesn't have), which makes it more fun to play with (mainly because it makes noise when the bells and beads move) . I'm not sure if this was a cost-cutting measure introduced by the company at some point, or if there was a safety issue that caused…

My kid wasn't a fan

I bought this toy hoping there would be less plastic in the house. The problem is that when he was very young he would rattle his eyes with tubercles (spastic infantile movements) and really couldn't understand it. Also, the fact that he was chewing on the dyed ends made me a little nervous because I didn't want the dye to get in his mouth. So I gave it back to him a month or two later, he took one, like - what's that - and switched to something else. He never really cared. Overall, however…

If your kid doesn't dig it up, don't worry because you will!

First of all, I love Manhattan Toy products! However, I would say the same thing about this toy as I would about another similar Manhattan Toy that I bought for my son's first birthday: the toy itself gets 5 stars, no question. However, if I were to judge how much my son enjoyed it I would probably give it 2 1/2 stars because unfortunately my 1 year old isn't as enthusiastic about it as I am. I ☹️. He's thrown it around a bit, stepped on it a few times, shook it once or twice, but other than…
