Great toy but dangerous and melts in hot water!

At first I was very excited about this product because I love this brand and my child loves their other toys. But I was so disappointed with this design. First, the circles in the child's mouth go too far - the daughter tried to eat it all the time and choked. And when I tried to sterilize this item I was shocked when it BURNED COMPLETELY. Revain sent me a replacement straight away but I noticed after a few days there were stains on the plastic around the edges of the balls and they looked like

In fact, the nerd mom might enjoy this more than the kids.

Let's be honest. I bought it because I thought it was cute and whimsical. The couple rolled their eyes when they discovered I only bought it because it was "Atom", but I still love it. The older child played with him a little and the younger one was crazy about him. Thank goodness because I was starting to get angry that I bought something just because I thought it was cute. When shaken he makes a nice rattle and is perfect for his little drooling jaw. He chews on this thing all the time andโ€ฆ
