I really like these scarves. I use them to cover my hair due to Covid 19. I don't want the virus getting into my hair when I have to leave the house, so I try to minimize exposure. The width of the scarves gives me maximum coverage and they are easy to tie and tuck in once my hair is wrapped. I have curly hair so this scarf is perfect for me. Can't speak to these scarves as headbands as I don't use them as advertised but they are great for me in fall or spring. I like that the colors are varied and the fabric is smooth. The material is not similar to cashmere, but a mixture of cotton and polyester. I don't know the exact fiber content, but I have to assume they contain cotton but not hemp.
