Great running gloves

Very good gloves, especially for running in 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit. They'll keep your hands warm without being too bulky, and you can control your phone or music player without getting cold. I live in Minneapolis and as a kid too many snowball fights made my fingers sensitive to cold and windy days. These gloves are ideal when it gets a little chilly. These aren't the cheapest gloves out there, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I liked them so much that I bought an extra pair, even a…

Pros
  • 100% nylon
Cons
  • I'm mad

An update of my favorite gloves. Mostly a light nylon layer, but "windproof" with Gore-Tex. Allows sweat to evaporate, protects against wind. This glove adds a conductive fingertip for smartphones. I really like these gloves as they don't take up much space but by blocking the wind and keeping a thin layer of air close to my hands they keep me warm. I'm usually warm so these gloves can get me through most of the Boston winter, only when it's very cold outside do I wear thicker gloves. You are…

Pros
  • NON-SLIP GRIP: Features non-slip grip on palm and fingers. This rubberized Trax grip provides a secure grip when shoveling snow, holding your phone, or using tools
Cons
  • Not Safe

Does its job well

I've worn them enough to feel comfortable writing a 5 star review on them. I wore them on a 60 minute run in 35°F and had to take them off. Last weekend I wore them to a 9 mile run in 21F and 5mph winds - took them off when the wind was blowing into my back, I had to put them back on when running upwind and they held mine hands warm. Every other run between those two temperatures, I had to turn them on and off to regulate the warmth of my hands. Once the cold weather sets in I will most likely…

Gor-tex Infinium Lightweight Gloves

Gloves fit well. The touch function works well. Big weight, very light. I use them for running. My fingers get cold on the third mile walk. When I start running, the outside temperature is usually around 36 degrees. They start to warm up a bit, but never warm up comfortably by my 5th mile on my walk. I put my hands in my pockets to see if that would help keep them warm, but not by much. It's usually around 43 degrees at the end of my hike. This product did not meet my warmth requirements. You…

Cons
  • There are doubts

short, taut ring finger.

I usually have big hands. I bought a large and had to exchange it for an XL. The big one barely got in. XL is almost big enough down to the ring finger. As far as I know someone has a ring finger that is longer than the index finger while someone has the opposite. My ring finger is longer and these gloves are made for people whose ring finger is shorter than their index finger so the ring finger doesn't fit very well but the index finger does. Also, the ring finger is cut less so it fits snugly

Pros
  • Durable finish

Good thin windshields with no insulation so you have agility!

I love it. I lost my first pair after just a month and bought a second pair. Protects hands from the wind on very cold northern Wisconsin days when it's literally too cold to keep hands open even for a moment (think 40mph+ wind with an actual temperature of -20). I use them for tasks that require dexterity where I would only expose my hands to the wind for a minute here and there and ended up with broken skin on the back of my hand and instant numb fingers. They don't have any insulation, it's…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Better quality control?

In general these are good gloves. The fit seems to match the size chart. My hand is 7 ¼ inches which is right in the middle of a large size. There's some room at the fingertips, but not too much. What you would expect from a good fit at 7 and 1/2 inches. Another reviewer said the windshield doesn't block the wind, but it definitely does. However, the weight of the gloves must still be appropriate for the temperature and activity. Other reviewers have mentioned that I am very dissatisfied with…
