This was a gift and I recently found that it had already come apart on clips on 2 balls. He said he took the clips off and put his own on and it all works great.

3 stars because I had to smash one of the barrels. Once the barrel is set to mono, they're tough to beat. I just didn't like doing a job that had to be done right the first time. I would recommend just tugging on the clamps so you don't lose your caught fish.

Works but difficult to use. It takes a lot of force to push the sleeve down and keep the clamps closed. Even after you close them, they don't hold up very well. If you try to pull a fish out of a live well with a line (like you can with other culling systems) they will often open up and drop the fish. Great concept, less than great execution.
