My husband and I attended a fall wedding in New York this year and it was a black tie wedding, which of course means floor length prom dresses for women. You can't just wear a coat over a dress so I needed something for when it gets cold. I found this scarf a week before my wedding and it was just perfect. It was a neutral color so it looked great with my burgundy dress, just enough to cover my shoulders and chest perfectly and warm enough to move from place to place.

EDIT (January 2017): I've been wearing this scarf almost every day for a year and it's great. I get cold very easily even in summer and often carry it with me. I LOVE this item. The quality is really nice and this cape will keep you warm! It does not roll off easily, so you can be sure of your investment.
